Work in Progress
My main project at present is a history of the book in the late antiquity Latin west. I am also co-editing a volume on multilingualism in late antique and medieval manuscripts, and working on several articles and book chapters on topics relating to late Latin literature, manuscript culture, and classical reception in 20th-century Ireland.

I studied Classics as an undergraduate at Trinity College Dublin, then came to Canada to do my Ph.D at the University of Toronto. Before joining UBC I worked at the University of Waterloo and the British Library.

This year I am teaching Introduction to Mythology, Latin 101 (term 1 and 2), and Latin 402/502 (Horace’s Odes).
